In this role, you'll be the driving force behind payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all Mews locations. You’ll manage payroll calculations, address employee queries, and ensure tax and social security compliance are always in line. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll help keep our payroll processes smooth and dependable. This role comes with a fixed-term contract for 9 months.

- Manage and streamline payroll across all Mews locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance at every step.
- Be the go-to expert for payroll questions, supporting employees across all Mews entities with clear, prompt answers.
- Partner closely with payroll providers to maintain smooth compliance on social security, tax, and other essential regulatory matters.
- Validate and securely transfer payroll data into third-party systems, safeguarding accuracy.
- Prepare and share essential payroll documents, including income statements, tax filings, and other employee records.
- Ensure employee benefits are reflected correctly in payroll while keeping comprehensive, up-to-date payroll records.
- Collaborate with accounting teams for payroll posting and reconciliation and assist in annual audits.
- Support equity management and reporting processes, and escalate issues as needed to keep our processes smooth and reliable.
🤝 You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:
- Solid experience in payroll operations with a global reach. End-to-end payroll experience and compliance knowledge are key.
- Experience with payroll software, such as Workday or Safeguard, plus advanced Excel skills to keep things organized.
- Solid understanding of payroll legislation and tax compliance, ideally with experience in payroll transformation or new system onboarding.
- Exceptional organization and time management, allowing you to handle multiple tasks and keep payroll accurate and on schedule.
- Strong communication skills for navigating cross-functional relationships and resolving payroll inquiries effectively.
- Fluency in English, with a professional approach that helps you manage tasks with clarity and confidence.
