DEPARTMENT/ TEAM PURPOSE:
The Copper Marketing team supports Sales in lead generation and the growth of the brand. The team is collaborative, high-energy, driven, and intellectual marketing professionals. We take our work, but not ourselves, incredibly seriously, embracing growth marketing, brand, and more with focus, creativity, precision, and relentless good humour.
ROLE PURPOSE:
The Events manager will support the Global head of marketing to manage Coppers brand, education, networking, and content-led events. You will support all events administration and coordination alongside taking ownership of small tradeshows and internal events at Coppers Blockchain House facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate pre-event, on-site and post-event activities
- Document objectives from stakeholder meetings, budget management and contract signings
- Manage deliverables within timelines for small client events of up to 30 pax as well as trade shows
- Take ownership of all delegate management - event invitations, RSVPs, and registration at proprietary events
- Collaborate with Creative Design for on-site branding, invitations, social assets and merchandise ordering
- Manage internal speakers, set up events and assist with the post-event evaluation
- Work as part of a team for events planning with stakeholders throughout the business, including sales, marketing, and strategy
- Ensure Salesforce campaigns and uploads are managed
- Budget and monthly team reporting management
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Previous experience working in events and marketing, including managing and owning small events independently
- Highly proficient in verbal and written English
- CMS experience, preferably Salesforce or similar
- Experience working within the Financial Services and/or crypto industry
- Confident using Pardot, Excel and Google Analytics
- Ability to negotiate, project manage and understand relevant marketing channels
Desirable
- Keen interest in tech, cryptocurrencies and the future of finance
