The opportunity
The Founder’s Associate will work directly with the CEO, supporting a wide range of activities. The CEO is looking for a true jack of all trades that is highly flexible, has a proactive approach to work, has a “roll up your sleeves” mentality, ability to quickly assimilate information and willingness to gain autonomy.
Responsibilities Overview
- Assist the CEO in managing sales, from lead generation to supporting closing deals with waste management clients.
- Coordinate and manage sales pipeline activities, ensuring timely follow-ups and tracking of client engagements.
- Create and manage client proposals, contracts, and other sales documents, ensuring accuracy.
- Research and identify potential clients and partners in the waste management industry.
- Manage the CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, travel, and events, ensuring efficient time management.
- Prepare and review communications, such as emails, reports, and presentations, on behalf of the CEO.
- Coordinate demo logistics, including materials, equipment setup, and demo schedules (demos are tests with customer waste streams held in our Test Center).
- Ensure that all demo-related tasks are completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
- Gather feedback from demo participants and prepare post-demo reports to share with stakeholders.
- Attending meetings with the CEO, taking detailed notes and tracking action points to ensure follow-up.
- Conduct research on behalf of the CEO, providing summarised insights into potential partnerships, market opportunities, and operational improvements.
- Handle ad hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by the CEO, adapting quickly to the changing needs of the company.
