About the role
With so many exciting releases ahead of us, we're looking for a Theatrical Marketing Coordinator in our Global Releases Marketing Team, which will be crucial for enabling us to deliver our campaigns at the scale and high level of quality we want. By owning certain responsibilities within our team workflows, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on our wider strategy and how we deliver campaigns to our audiences.
For the purpose of those applying from within the UK, the nature of this role is hybrid, requiring a presence in our London HQ for at least two days per week.
As this role sits within a global team, we also encourage applicants based in New York.
You will focus on:
The theatrical and streaming phase. You’ll support marketing for new releases across territories, including theatrical but also across streaming (SVOD - Subscription Video On Demand) campaigns too.
Managing asset localization and proofing process, working in tandem with internal teams and external sub-distributors
Adapting key creative briefs and brainstorming additional concepts
Owning the organization of key materials for folder upload and wider circulation on social and to our partners
Copywriting for email builds and paid digital setup
Prepare wrap-up reports & update trackers covering performance and related activations
Logging incoming press reviews and pull quotes both during and after film festival runs
What you will bring:
A passion for all types of quality cinema, from classics to new releases
Excellent writing and communication skills with the ability to take on the MUBI voice
You’ll be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the digital landscape, from social to streaming
A diligent, highly organized and eager learner who pays close attention to detail
A dedication to streamlining each and every campaign
Strong working knowledge of the Google Drive suite
Between 1-3 years’ experience in marketing, and even better if you have experience in film too
Familiarity with Braze, Photoshop and Premiere Pro desirable
Given you’ll be working supporting releases across multiple territories and managing asset localization, additional languages would be a bonus but not a deal-breaker
We want to make cinema accessible to everyone. We believe people from different backgrounds bring different ideas that foster innovation and engagement, allowing us to attract great people to develop the best experience for our users.
