About The Role
Join our engineering team and help ensure our infrastructure is robust and scalable. This is a unique opportunity to deploy large-scale AI systems, working at scale supporting our enterprise clients.
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Platform Engineer at Captur. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks involved in ensuring reliability of systems, software development best-practices and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure to support our AI-driven applications
- Ensure high reliability and performance of our systems through proactive monitoring and optimisation
- Lead the adoption of software development best practices across the engineering team
- Mentor junior and mid-level team members, supporting their growth and development
- Contribute to the evolution of our engineering processes and infrastructure strategies
Skills - Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms including at least 1 year of hands on experience working with GCP
- 3+ years of experience building and managing infrastructure including tools like Docker and Terraform
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Skills - Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with machine learning pipelines in production environments
- Familiarity with high peak traffic systems
- Experience working with TFX
