As the Fund Accounting Lead, you will take ownership of our fund accounting operations, driving excellence in financial reporting and compliance. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape bunch’s accounting processes and team, with a focus on scaling operations as the company continues its rapid growth.

Prepare the accounting team for growth by introducing best practices, mentoring staff, and laying the groundwork for future expansion.
Top responsibilities
Oversee fund accounting processes, including financial statement preparation, NAV calculations, and compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, Luxembourg GAAP).
Drive the integration of automated tools and systems to improve fund accounting workflows, reducing errors and increasing scalability.
Collaborate with technology teams to refine tools for managing fund data, reporting, and accounting activities.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports, audits, and regulatory filings.
Serve as the point of contact for fund managers, LPs, auditors, and other stakeholders, managing relationships and responding to queries.
Develop and document accounting policies and procedures to maintain consistency and adherence to best practices.
Train and guide the team in addressing accounting challenges and developing robust solutions.
What you should bring with you
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 5+ years of fund accounting experience, ideally in private equity, venture capital, or a related industry.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or Luxembourg GAAP, with experience preparing financial statements and managing audits.
Proven ability to work with complex fund structures and understand legal documents such as Partnership Agreements.
Experience with financial software and an interest in leveraging technology to improve accounting processes.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills, capable of working with internal and external stakeholders.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Fluent in English (C1) is required.
