About The Role
We are looking for an Intern to join our Financial Operations team in Athens, who will be responsible for FX and Treasury Operations, including transactions, reporting, reconciliation and various ad-hoc responsibilities. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required, and we are looking for someone eager to learn and grow within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assist in managing and monitoring daily cash transactions and executing payments
- Support investigations to resolve issues and inquiries related to financial transactions
- Help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in the preparation of accurate and timely reports
- Contribute to building and maintaining relationships with banks, financial institutions, and Payment Service Providers
- Assist in reviewing and optimizing cash management processes, controls, and policies
- Be involved in automation projects that improve financial operations, potentially using coding skills to enhance
Requirements
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other STEM field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
- Coding experience considered a plus
- Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable)
