About The Role
We are growing our team and are looking for a
Junior HR Generalist to join our People & Culture Team.
As a Junior HR Generalist, you will play a key role in enhancing the employee experience at Harbor Lab. You will support various HR functions, contribute to the development and implementation of people-focused initiatives, and ensure a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace culture.
What You Will Be Doing
Employee Support and Compliance:
- Handle employee requests related to HR issues
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws, emphasizing daily adherence to both internal rules and external regulations
Data Management and Payroll:
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (e.g., absences, bonuses, leaves)
Communication and Coordination:
- Communicate with public services when necessary
- Support the recruitment process by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, coordinating communication with candidates, and conducting comprehensive interviews
Onboarding and Development:
- Facilitate smooth onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed
- Assist in organizing training sessions, workshops, and development programs
- Help track employee progress and participation in learning activities
Culture and Engagement:
- Promote Harborlab's core values and ensure they are integrated into daily operations
- Organize and support company events, team-building activities, and recognition programs
Requirements
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR or people-centric role, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with HRIS systems
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable)
