About The Role
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Financial Operations team in Athens, who will be responsible for FX and Treasury Operations, including transactions, reporting, reconciliation and various ad-hoc responsibilities. Ideally, we are searching for someone with treasury, banking or other corporate finance experience and a demonstrated ability to strive towards operational excellence, learn quickly, implement change and deliver high quality results.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage and monitor daily cash, execute payments, investigate and resolve issues and inquiries
- Oversee cash management risk and controls, optimize and review processes, controls and policies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Prepare accurate and timely reports
- Establish and maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and Payment Service Providers. Monitor performance and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Coding skills will be key in driving automation and scale in Financial Operations, including the chance to lead some of these initiatives
Requirements
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Treasury function
- Bachelor's degree with preference in accounting, finance, or a quantitative field
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Programming/ QuickBooks experience will be considered as a plus
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and take initiative
- Effective communication skills
- Multi-task oriented with the ability to prioritize and operate proactively in a fast-paced and growing environment
- Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English, both verbally and in written
- Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable)
