Make Your Mark:This role will be responsible for the management of Third Party/Vendor relationships, including the development of sourcing strategies, contract evaluation and negotiation, as well as ongoing vendor management through the development of service deliverables, SLAs, and operational KPIs. This position will interface with every level of the organization and drive cost savings and improved business outcomes through effective supplier negotiations and management.
Responsibilities will include planning and vendor selec"on (including RFI's & RFP's), risk assessment, pricing and contract negotiations, managing due diligence, and quarterly/annual business reviews. The role will also focus on collaborating with various business leaders to develop and execute category plans and sourcing strategies that minimize vendor risk while optimizing vendor economics and outcomes.
You'll Get To: - Develop purchasing strategy and plans in close coordination with internal stakeholders across the company
- Identification and realization of cost-savings and cost-reduction opportunities and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs without compromising supply assurance or quality
- Negotiate price and commercial terms and conditions with suppliers for an assigned category (technology, marketing, facilities, etc.)
- Continuous learning and development of knowledge and understanding of procurement methods, service categories, and general business conditions to drive innovation and continuous improvement
- Establish and provide training and day-to-day support on procurement policies and processes for business unit and/or corporate staff involved in purchasing activities
- Adhere to, and monitor, compliance within company purchasing policies and procedures and transact all business with the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professional conduct
- Coordinate financial analytics with the finance team to support commercial term negotiations with performance dashboards and ROI based evaluation tools
What You'll Bring: - 7+ years of experience in third party vendor management / global procurement
- Experience in conceptual design of complex projects and programs
- Ability to effectively communicate and present information: one on one, small groups, functional leaders, executive management, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Strong knowledge of procurement and strategic sourcing best practices
- Effective written communication skills to summarize complex concepts and terms into executive summaries
- Must be comfortable working in a high pace environment, be able to multi-task, and have a hands-on attitude
- Must be able to excel in a flexible, fast-paced work environment and meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills, high level attention to detail, a self-starter with œcan do mentality
We’re Even More Excited If You Have: - BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or management
- Experience with MSPs (knowledge of SOW development) and SW Publishers (matching use case to licensing type), SW inventory management, maintenance renewal renegotiation, and yearly true-ups
- Experience in sourcing data center hardware, developer tools, and embedded software
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and experience partnering with software development teams
- Experience supporting make vs. buy analysis
- Marketing category experience (hotels, event planning, trade shows, etc.)
- Real estate and facilities experience (construction, project management, leases, furniture, etc.)

Salary Range: USD $130,000.00 - USD $173,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement: Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
