Office Manager
As an Office Manager you will spearhead the efficient operation of our office environment and play a pivotal role in supporting our team's success. As the Office Manager, you will oversee a diverse array of responsibilities including facilities management, executive calendar coordination, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Your strong organizational skills and proactive approach will be instrumental in maintaining a productive workplace. Responsibilities
Facility Management:
- Serve as primary point of contact for Castelion HQ in El Segundo. Manage services provided to the facility to include supplies and ongoing services (maintenance, cleaners, landscaping, refuse removal, electricians, etc)
- Ensure Castelion facilities are not short of required supplies to ensure positive work experience (snacks, beverages, swag)
- Assist with organizing company events and team building activities
- Own build out of employee experience improvements at HQ facility (office layout, employee common spaces)
- Drive cleanliness and organization throughout HQ
- Support Supply Chain team with inventory and receiving organization
IT Support:
- Own new hire device setup
- Assist the team with troubleshooting IT/device issues
- Own badging and facility access
Administrative Support:
- As required, provide administrative support to Castelion founding team
- Support leadership with site wide communication and updates
- Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings
- Travel coordination (book, track, and manage deployments to remote sites)
Recruiting Coordination:
- Serve as host for visiting candidates and ensure a positive experience during on-site visits
- Assist with new hire on-boarding and desk set up
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years senior level administrative support OR 2+ years of office management experience
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office
- Agility and flexibility in response to changing priorities and needs
- Solution-oriented with good judgment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- The ability to handle confidential material with the utmost discretion
- People-oriented (and high-empathy) with an aptitude for building relationships across all levels of an organization
- Willing and excited to pitch in wherever necessary in the spirit of supporting the company mission and growth
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Forklift certified
- EHS knowledge/experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Experience using JIRA, CRM software, CAD (or other software for layout management) and/or other project management systems
- Familiarity or experience with aerospace and/or aviation
Physical Requirements:
- This is an on-site position located in El Segundo, CA.
- Ability to lift/move heavy items
- Ability to communicate with individuals and groups in person, by phone and telepresence
- Travel of 25%-50% of the time may be required in this role and includes local company sites, and domestic locations

Emails, IMs and verbal interactions are logical, drive clarity, and detailed enough to eliminate ambiguity.
