About The Role
We're looking for a talented Tax specialist to work in the tax department. In this role, the Tax Specialist will help design and implement tax policies and strategies, and evaluate managerial processes to ensure compliance with relevant statutes and regulatory codes. The role also requires tax planning and reporting, including the filing of the Inmediate Supply of Information (SII) and e-invoicing. The ideal candidate is an analytical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex tax-related issues.
What you'll be doing?
We are looking for a Tax Specialist who will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Daily submission of the Immediate Supply of Information (SII).
- Preparation of the different tax obligations in Spain (IRPF, VAT) and other EU countries (focused on VAT).
- Manage tax requirements from the Tax Authorities.
- Assisting in the preparation of the local transfer pricing report, including supporting documentation for intra-group transactions.
- Perform risk assessments related to VAT, invoicing and new business proposals.
What are we looking for?
- Academic degree related to Finance and/or Accounting.
- At least 2 years of experience in accounting and/or tax department.
- Experience with national and international taxation.
- Used to work with Google apps, advanced Excel (formulas, functions, pivot tables, etc.).
- Detail oriented and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Remain up to date with changes in the tax code and accounting laws.
- Conduct research on tax compliance issues at the local and national levels.
- Experience in managing extensive volumes of transactions.
- Good level of English
