Join our dynamic team at Juni as a Junior Risk Control Officer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop and implement risk management strategies, monitor exposures, and investigate incidents. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a secure and compliant environment, supporting Juni's continued success and growth.This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to both strategic and operational risk management initiatives.
Your responsibilities 👏
In this role, you’ll:
- Contribute in Enterprise Risk Assessment:Contribute in the Enterprise Risk Assessment Process, hold risk workshops, document findings and develop the methodology. This includes working closely with stakeholders to identify, assess and report financial and non-financial risks continuously.
- Support New Product Approval Process (NPAP) facilitation: Support in facilitation of the NPAP. This includes guiding initiators in planning, aligning with procurement, advice on risk management, compile decision basis.
- Perform Monitoring Activities: Perform and support monitoring activities to ensure effectiveness of existing control environment.
- Perform Internal and External Reporting: Help prepare internal and external reports for stakeholders.
- Provide Incident Management Support: Support and participate in incident management and reporting processes.
- Support and Advise: Ad-hoc support to the business on risk management practices such as DORA for example.
- Update Governing Documents: Contribute to updating governing documents, such as policies and procedures related to the risk management framework.
- Hold Training and awareness: Help put together training materials on incident management, risk appetite and other relevant risk topics.

Qualifications 👑
What we need to see
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to take initiative and learn new things
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
- Genuine interest in the fintech industry and a passion for financial innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Economics, IT or any other relevant field
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Residence in Sweden
- Intermediate skills in handling Google Sheets/Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Good understanding of financial and non-financial risks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly interpret data and identify potential risks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues across different departments
- Familiarity with Swedish financial regulations and SFSA requirements

- Previous experience or internships in risk management, compliance, or a related field, preferably within Financial Services.
