Based on a network of peers, Acin’s data protocols connect a bank’s risk control data across their firm and industry leading to greater cost savings, and creating huge efficiency savings across the bank both in front and back-office operations.
The role
You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust GraphQL APIs, extending existing functionality or breaking things out into more re-usable patterns, whilst being mindful about consistency and reusability using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, Azure Serverless and Git.
Main duties
- Building and maintaining robust GraphQL APIs to provide clients with multiple data-rich views into operational risk management.
- Schema design and providing guidance on schema best practices.
- Data orchestration – create functions and logic apps for more complex data orchestration tasks.
- Write test cases in line with frameworks set out by QA team to ensure good coverage on your code.
- Follow best practice set within the team and align your deliverables to it.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to innovate.
Requirements
- Experience working with TypeScript and Node.js.
- Commercial experience working with GraphQL.
- Experience working with data structures and understanding of SQL.
- Experience writing effective unit tests.
- A motivation to continuously work towards a higher standard of code.
- Effective communication skills, allowing you to contribute to discussions and convey ideas in an accessible manner.
