The role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join the financial control team. This is a specific Project role as the Management Accountant will be working on projects only.
What excites you
- Act as key Finance representative in various finance projects to define requirements, support system automation required and implementation of new processes.
- Lead the implementation of automated revenue and deferred revenue reporting via Netsuite. Ensuring compliance accounting standards and internal financial policies
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Support the definition and implementation of new accounting and reporting processes to integrate a newly acquired company into Gocardless.
- Support our Financial control programme by implementing new controls required to increase maturity of financial processes in scope.
What excites us
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified with 7+ years of industry experience.
- Team player but ability to work independently on projects and with minimal supervision.
- Proven experience in working on projects to support finance process improvements with automation.
- Advanced excel / google sheet skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Strong understanding of IFRS.
- Experience with best practices in IFRS 15 revenue reporting and deferred revenue reporting
- Ability to clearly articulate finance needs to technical and non-technical stakeholders, anticipate issues and provide regular updates to project lead.
- Knowledge of NetSuite is essential
