We are seeking a dynamic Head of Partnerships and Alliances
As the Head of Partnerships and Alliances, you will be instrumental in building measurable.energy’s partnership strategy and framework from the ground up. Charged with creating and managing strategic partnerships across current and future markets, you will drive significant revenue growth, expand our market presence, and forge impactful alliances. This role calls for an ambitious strategist and hands-on operator who can turn untapped opportunities into scalable, predictable growth, positioning measurable.energy as a global leader in sustainable energy solutions.
Key responsibilities:
Strategy and framework development
• Develop a comprehensive partnership and alliances strategy to drive UK and international growth and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
• Create scalable frameworks for partnership models, aligning with measurable energy's core values, technological goals and mission.
• Identify key markets and sectors that align with measurable energy’s growth trajectory, forming a strong blueprint for realised expansion.
Partnership identification and management
• Cultivate relationships with potential partners, including (but not limited to) technology companies, construction companies, engineering firms, energy companies, real estate consultancies / developers, and sustainability consultants.
• Establish strategic partnerships that contribute to measurable energy’s goal of reducing energy waste in commercial and industrial sectors.
• Actively manage and nurture existing partnerships, ensuring each alliance is mutually beneficial and aligned with corporate growth objectives of measurable energy.
Revenue generation and performance tracking
• Drive substantial revenue through alliances and partnerships by creating tailored go-to-market plans and collaborative initiatives.
• Develop KPIs for partnership performance, actively tracking impact and value-add metrics to ensure high ROI for both sides.
• Work closely with sales and marketing to ensure alignment on lead generation, brand positioning, and joint market efforts, inc. stakeholder management.
Cross-functional collaboration
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, CS and Marketing teams to ensure partnerships are aligned with measurable.energy’s technology offerings and brand.
• Work with CS / Product to integrate partner solutions seamlessly into client offerings, enhancing end-user experience and maximising value.
• Provide insights and training to the team, equipping them with tools to support and leverage partnerships effectively, including feedback loops for continuous improvement.
Market intelligence and positioning
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors, positioning measurable.energy strategically in a rapidly evolving market.
• Represent measurable energy at key industry events, conferences, and panels, building brand visibility and credibility among stakeholders.
Qualifications
• Experience: 8-10 years in a senior partnerships, alliances, or business development role, with proven expertise in technology, energy, or real estate sectors, especially in a high-growth or scaleup environment across an international footprint.
• Track record: Proven success in establishing and scaling partnerships that drive substantial revenue growth and market expansion, with a focus on high value, culturally aligned, long-term engagements.
• Strategic vision: Proven ability to develop and execute a long-term partnership strategy that aligns with company goals, identifying and capitalising on growth opportunities while maintaining a focus on measurable results.
• Analytical and strategic thinking: Excellent business judgement, with financial acumen and a data-driven approach to evaluating and optimising partnership performance.
• Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with hands-on experience in building and scaling teams to support growth objectives, fostering a results-oriented, performance-driven culture in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to seamlessly integrate across multiple functions and regions, aligning internal and external stakeholders to drive cohesive, mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a bonus.
