measurable.energy’s solution eliminates ‘plug power’ waste - energy not required by devices that are plugged in or directly wired; such as heaters, TVs, printers, AV equipment, chilled and hot water taps, which are often left fully on or in standby mode when not used. 30-50% of total electricity usage in most commercial buildings can be attributed to this type of ‘plug power’ energy use. In temporary or modular buildings, it is often >90% of the total building energy.
The Role
As a Construction Account Executive (AE), you will be responsible for generating revenue from sales to customers and prospects in the Construction industry sector.
You will manage your pipeline, focusing on new logo acquisition and the expansion of new customers into repeatable, scalable business. You will have the opportunity to engage with business leaders who are responsible for some of the largest companies in the world.
You will take a data-driven approach to our sales, focusing on the best priorities and enabling fast decision-making for optimal results. You will own the commercial relationships with key prospects and customers in our most important industry sector.
As part of a fast-growing business and a fast-growing team, you will learn from and be guided by colleagues with years of experience selling to multi-billion-pound customers. Every day will be different and you will be learning all the time.

What we think you’ll need to be successful:
- You must have been in a closing role for >1 year.
- Have closed significant revenue business with Construction sector customers.
- Prior experience as an SDR, building your own pipeline, is important.
- You are humble, you love listening to feedback and you learn from your mistakes.
- You are organised, diligent and methodical.
- Experience with CRM software such as Hubspot / Salesforce.
- Any prior start-up/scale-up experience is a must.
- A passion for our mission to reduce carbon emissions.
- Happy to be flexible, adaptable and learn quickly in a fast-growing scale-up.
