Job Description
Role Title: Creative Artworker
Employment Type: 6 Month FTC
Reporting into: Senior Designer
Location: London, Hybrid.
We have a great opportunity to join our talented creative team as a Creative Artworker.
Here, we tackle groundbreaking brand partnerships (Bluey? Jolly Hog? Yes please!), mouthwatering campaigns (like Battle of the Buns), a feast of Gousto packaging, and a red-hot new recipe range straight from the oven. We make everything look and sound Gousto, from the billboards you see at train stations to the big red box that arrives at your doorstep.
To apply for this role you’ll have solid commercial experience as a Midweight Creative Artworker, meticulous attention to detail and a thorough knowledge of artwork production. You’ll be used to taking on designs and concepts from creative team members to deliver the final executions and can juggle a large workload, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You’ll have considerable knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and be excellent at setting up artwork files, delivering print and digital creative, and working from signed-off design to final delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Artworking both print and digital creative to required specs and delivering final assets
- Checking artwork files, reviewing proofs from printers, and approving digital files to ensure accuracy
- Executing high-quality creative briefs for campaigns, packaging, events, and digital channels
- Collaborating with creatives and brand team members, including social media, PR, and brand managers
- Implementing feedback meticulously from creative team members and stakeholders
- Ensuring all artwork aligns with Gousto’s brand guidelines, acting as a brand guardian
- Managing multiple briefs simultaneously and pitching process improvement ideas to the team Continuously developing technical skills for high-standard execution
- Focusing on personal growth with resources like YCN and LinkedIn Learning
- Bringing positive energy and a creative perspective to the Gousto brand community
Who You Are
- Solid commercial experience as a Midweight Creative Artworker with meticulous attention to detail
- Thorough knowledge of artwork production processes
- Strong experience in transforming designs from creative team members into polished, final executions
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Considerable knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and expertise in Figma
- Up-to-date knowledge of print, packaging, and digital production techniques
- Proven ability to work to short deadlines across multiple projects
- Experience interpreting artwork briefs and understanding stakeholder requirements
- Skilled in implementing brand guidelines
- Excellent organisational, communication, and time management skills
- Confident and positive approach, with the ability to influence those around you
- Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining absolute attention to detail
Extra skills we’d love
- Experience working on national or international brands, especially in FMCG
- Expertise in After Effects or other video editing and animation tools
