The role:
As we continue to grow, we are looking to hire an experienced manager to engage with and maintain clients at anniversary/ rate-review and ensure customer continuity, whilst hitting and beating retention, cross-sell and upsell targets
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Craft and execute territory plans, identifying new insurance sales and customer growth opportunities to meet and exceed sales goals. Prioritise efforts by highest impact on market share acquisition and revenue growth.
- Ensuring clients renew their YuLife products at rate-review / anniversary.
- Being highly organised ensuring pipeline, deals and activity reporting is up to date (e.g. HubSpot).
- Proactively take ownership of responsibilities and update leadership demonstrating accountability
- Excel in prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing insurance sales opportunities within YuLife’s existing customer base. You will be managing several sales opportunities of varying deal values.
- Highly collaborative team player who builds meaningful business relationships with key teams and stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Partner with the Customer Success, Customer Growth Marketing Team, Revenue Operations, and Sales Teams to align and execute on your territory plan and sales strategies
- Superb communication, influencing and negotiation abilities, motivated by finding the win-win for customers and YuLife
- Exceptional in articulating and positioning YuLife’s value proposition, and building the business case with the customer and internal teams
- Result oriented with a strong track record of exceeding quota.
- Driven by consistently improving the status quo, both personally and with the broader team
- Someone who is hungry to understand and develop their insurance and wellbeing knowledge
The ideal candidate will have:
- GR1
- IF7
- Extensive knowledge of the Group Risk Market. 2 years+ of Group Risk experience
- Drive and ambition
- Presentation Skills
- Demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships
- Selling on value - consultative sales experience preferred
- Knowledge and command of customer needs around wellbeing culture is a must.
- Good organisation skills and an ability to meet/beat deadlines
- Good attention to detail
- Understanding how the broker market works and the ability to ensure that they are well serviced
- Understanding, maintaining and managing your client portfolio through YuLife’s CRM system
- Be able to work as a team player as well as individually
