Job Description
Hygiene Supervisor, Warrington
8am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday
Joining our close-knit Food Technical team, as part of the Foundations Tribe; customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest food hygiene standards are at the core of this role. You will work collaboratively with Gousto and agency stakeholders.
Core responsibilities:
- Management of the Hygiene team; rota, holiday cover etc.
- Root cause analysis
- Overseeing Internal and External audits
- Ensuring we have robust risk assessed hygiene systems and cleaning instruction cards
- Delivering and coordinating cleaning training as and when required.
- Responsible for ensuring that the required quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards are implemented, maintained and improved.
- Responsible for supporting the engineering function in cleaning
Keep abreast of new and innovative ways to clean. - Manage and order stock of chemicals, cleaning equipment and lab consumables.
- Full ownership of the online Hygiene system.
- PPE system management, invoicing etc.
- Pest control and waste management.
Who You are:
At Gousto we work collaboratively, with Drive, energy and enthusiasm. The ideal person for this role will be a self-starter, pragmatic and hands-on in approach. You will be dynamic by nature, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You will:
- Be operating within Hygiene as a team Manager.
- Have good accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be familiar with document control procedures and managing schedules.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Have a strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and effective utilisation of cleaning chemicals.
- Posses Excellent IT skills including experience of Google Workspace (docs, sheets etc.)
- Have an understanding of Risk Assessment generation and maintenance.
Qualifications
- COSHH trained.
- Working at Height beneficial.
