Sweep is hiring a Carbon & Sustainable Finance Intern for 6 months to work on our enterprise climate and ESG program software.
Sweep maps climate and ESG data across an entire business to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance, and create audit-ready reports to run the best sustainability programs. Sweep empowers companies to build resilience to global challenges with technology.
This role is for an initial period of 6months with the opportunity to move to a full-time position thereafter.
Ok, sounds promising. What will I be doing?
As part of the Success Team, you will play a crucial role in defining the customer journey of our sustainability software implementation, establishing protocols for project delivery, and driving knowledge transfer within the team by mentoring junior team members.
To be more specific, this includes:
1. Carbon & Sustainable Finance activities 🔍 Onboard, implement, assist finance customers and their portfolios companies
- Support financial customers as they onboard, helping them integrate our platform to track financed emissions and ESG metrics.
- Provide customer training—you’ll run training sessions and assist customers in rolling out Sweep across their portfolios.
- Work with our delivery and success teams and assist customer during their Carbon & ESG campaigns—from creating FAQs to real-time customer support via Intercom.
2. Finance Success and Marketing 👫 Guide customers through their journey to becoming more sustainable
- Share success stories—help our finance customers tell the world how they’re making an impact.
- Develop training materials for internal teams and external partners via Sweep School.
- Help craft webinars and write articles about carbon accounting and strategies to reduce emissions.
3. Additional Tasks 🌱 Participate in various team-oriented activities
- Play an active role in our team meetings, contributing your ideas and collaborating across departments.
- Participate in Sweep events and help drive our mission forward.
- Be a support hub for both our team and our customers, tackling challenges as they arise.

Qualifications 🏆
- Education: You’re pursuing or have completed a degree in business, carbon finance, environmental science, or a related field
- Knowledge: You know your stuff when it comes to climate change, carbon accounting, and ESG standards—and you’re eager to put it into practice
- Experience: Customer relationships and training? If you’ve got it, that’s a bonus. If not, we’ll help you get there
- Languages: You speak and write in English and French fluently
