The Role:
We’re seeking a dynamic Sales Development Lead, based in the UK, to help scale our AI startup and contribute to our ambitious growth goals. As the Sales Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). You will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, nurturing prospect relationships, and collaborating closely with our sales, marketing, and partnership teams to generate and convert leads.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives to achieve and exceed sales goals
- Build and execute strategies to generate, qualify, and nurture leads, delivering a strong pipeline of prospects for the sales team
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design and optimize outreach campaigns that resonate with prospective customers
- Engage with potential clients to understand their pain points, ensuring our solutions align with their business needs
- Use data to analyze and improve team performance, identifying areas for growth and implementing best practices
- Train and support the SDR team on lead qualification, outbound prospecting, and objection handling
- Report on key performance metrics, providing insights to senior leadership to drive decision-making
- Work closely with account executives and the partnership team to transition qualified leads and ensure a smooth handoff
- Stay informed of industry trends and product offerings to be a valuable resource for prospective clients
- Support and enhance team culture, contributing to a collaborative and positive work environment
- Ultimately own the pipeline generation target for the SDR team
