The Role and Team
Medallia is seeking a dynamic, curious, and motivated Senior Learning Associate. This highly collaborative role will be part of our global Culture, Experience, and Learning team, working to welcome new Medallians to the organization and prepare them for success in their roles, and to help them develop throughout their journey as they grow in their careers. In this role, you will support, design, and deliver on-site and virtual learning experiences across the employee lifecycle.
This role will report into our Senior Director of Learning and Development, situated within Medallia’s Culture, Experience, and Learning team. You will join a dynamic and global team with a focus on: Culture; Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging; Philanthropy; Environment and Sustainability; ESG; Employee Experience; and of course, Learning!
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage logistics for delivering learning to our global team
- Design creative, impactful, and scalable learning experiences
- Facilitate components of these programs in person and virtually; coordinate with and train local delivery partners for facilitation across regions
- Record training for on-demand delivery as needed
- Keep an up-to-date training calendar to inform employees and managers about upcoming sessions
- Partner with key stakeholders from across the business to understand learning needs, ensuring our programs meet these needs and are relevant to real challenges and development opportunities
- Project plan and gather input from SMEs to ensure on time delivery of new programs
- Integrate concepts covered in other Medallia programs into learning programs to create a cohesive employee experience
- Continually revise content to ensure information is up to date
- Partner with Voice of Medallia (VOM) team to gather feedback from learners that helps tell a story about the impact of the experiences we deliver
- Produce summaries and overview documents that help Medallians understand our offerings and how they can get involved
- Use Workday learning to help assign, track, and report on learning engagement across the organization; identify opportunities to maximize engagement
- Assist in research efforts and benchmark with internal and external stakeholders to understand learning trends and best practices
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing L&D programs and offerings
- Work with external vendors and consultants to support specialized training events or project deliverables
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- 3+ years experience working in a professional environment with multiple stakeholders
- 3+ years working in a role focused on learning and development
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong teaching/facilitation and course design skills
- Strong project planning and management skills
- Experience working with Workday Learning
- Experience with designing virtual and hybrid learning programs
- Experience developing scalable processes
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Well organized, self-starter and process-driven, always looking for way to optimize
- Able to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action; accuracy and attention to detail are key
Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $79,000-$118,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
