About the role
The Senior Solution Consultant (SC) at Duco is an experienced partner for clients and prospects, skilled in crafting solutions for complex business problems with compelling value propositions. Continuously collaborating with clients, the SC excels in understanding their objectives, business initiatives, challenges, and operational infrastructure to create transformative solutions. This role entails working in tandem with Sales Executive, supported by Professional Services and Product teams to identify opportunities that not only expand Duco’s footprint but also deliver substantial value to our clients.
The Senior Solution Consultant role at Duco is a multifaceted and dynamic position that is an essential part of the customer journey with a focus on selling motions on both existing customers and prospects.
What you will be working on
- Leading discovery & solution evaluation processes through a variety of engagement types including but not limited to: product demonstrations, custom variety of workshop and deep-dive sessions, scoping and building impactful proof of concepts with clients.
- Delivering highly engaging, tailored demonstrations and presentations, centred on customer value and outcomes, showcasing the capabilities and benefits of Duco’s product suite
- Building and fostering consultative relationships with prospects & customers, seeking to understand their operating model (processes, people & technology), its associated problems and interplay between all of these components to develop comprehensive solutions.
- Gain product expertise and closely follow Product activities and roadmap. You will have the knowledge to confidently articulate and demo the value of current and planned capabilities.
- Own responding to RFPs and RFIs with relevant product & solution information
- Working closely with Sales, Professional Services, Product, and other Duco teams to develop solutions rooted in core challenges, pain points, and client objectives. You will collaborate with your account team to articulate the solution in a presentation and business case and present these in a compelling manner that effectively demonstrates alignment with client needs.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape to effectively position our solutions.
Ideally, you will have
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise client-facing roles
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or similar role and a track record of B2B selling into complex, multi-layered financial organisations
- Ability to drive strategic selling motions from a pre-sales perspective
- Demonstrated ability to navigate and contribute at various stages of the enterprise sales cycle, from discovery and needs assessment to technical demonstrations and solution design
- Keen ability to uncover client challenges and paint points, develop meaningful solutions, and effectively present to senior stakeholders
- Superb skills in organisation, communications, process thinking, directing work through others, initiative, building relationships and trust, and consensus building
- Ability to create presentations that are clear and impactful, translating solutions into meaningful value propositions for clients
- Skills in interpreting and presenting complex technical information succinctly and in a compelling way to a wide variety of audiences
- Understanding of integration methodologies including API, SFTP, and middleware integration
- Deep understanding of the Financial Services industry, its challenges and its typical technical, process and vendor landscape.
- Motivated to collaborate with teammates and continuously learn and grow
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience demonstrating technical proficiency
- Experience in SaaS and either consulting (strategy, IT) or banking operations
- Ability to travel 30%
