The Challenge
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director, HR Business Partnership to join our dynamic team. This high-level individual contributor role will be directly accountable to the Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer, supporting all R&D functions, including Engineering, Product, UX, and more. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering HR outcomes for a global R&D organization comprising approximately 650 employees across five locations worldwide. This role is based in Atlanta, GA, and follows a hybrid work model with an expectation of being onsite at our headquarters office two days per week.
Your Mission
- Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with the Chief Product Officer and Chief Technology Officer to develop and implement HR strategies that support the business objectives of the R&D organization.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers on all HR-related matters, providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Talent Management: Oversee talent management processes, including succession planning, talent reviews, and career development initiatives to ensure a robust pipeline of talent within the R&D organization.
- Change Management: Lead and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication and engagement strategies are in place to facilitate smooth transitions.
- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with leaders to assess and anticipate HR-related needs, develop workforce plans, and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent in a highly competitive market.
- HR Program Execution: Drive the execution of core HR programs and processes, including compensation planning, performance reviews, and employee engagement surveys within the R&D organization.
- Data-Driven Insights: Utilize HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations that drive decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness.
- Global HR Management: Ensure HR practices and programs are consistent across all global locations, taking into account local labor laws and cultural differences.
- Culture and Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with OneTrust's values and enhances employee engagement and satisfaction.
You Are
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in the HR profession, with at least 3 years performing the HR Business Partner function.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience supporting technical teams (Engineering, Product, UX, etc.) as an HRBP is essential.
- Global Experience: Experience managing HR functions for a global workforce across multiple locations.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with senior leaders.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data and information clearly and concisely.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically to solve complex HR issues.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.
Salary Range
$165,000—$247,500 USD
