We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Merchandising Admin, to join our expanding commercial team.
As a Merch Admin, you will be responsible for processing of grain purchase and sales transactions and interacting with internal and external customers on a daily basis. You will work closely together with Grain Merchandisers, in order to efficiently complete the contract to cash process.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers
- Process grain purchase and sales transactions
- Accumulate all required documentation for processing (tickets, bill of lading, weight certificates, grade certificates, invoices)
- Verify the accuracy of weights, grades, discounts, program charges, and freight liability
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Agro.Club CRM & accounting system
- Communicate with customers to resolve payments, past due accounts, and document discrepancies
- Collaborate within the commercial team to provide full back-office support for all transactions
Critical requirements
- Relevant background and understanding of agriculture trading
- Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally
- Basic knowledge of general accounting principles
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and propose solutions
- Ability to prioritize multiple, detail oriented tasks and meet strict daily deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
