The opportunity:
Flexport is experiencing massive growth with 2,500+ Flexporters across 17 global offices and warehouses. And we’re just getting started. Flexport is looking for a Bill Processing Supervisor with revenue growing at breakneck speed. You’ll be responsible for managing a team that processes Flexport vendor bills, audit bills for accuracy, disputing with vendors, or sending for payment. You'll be working cross-functionally to identify areas of opportunity regarding our vendor/client billing practices and continually look for ways to improve our processing and audit process.
You will:
- Do whatever it takes to help our partners and customers to resolve billing-related questions and problems
- Respond to account management, vendors, and internal departments' billing escalations.
- Manage a team of offshore associates.
- Provide tasks and responsibilities for team members.
- Manage team's KPIs, workload, and performance management.
- Negotiate disputes and handle vendor inquiries with our partners.
- Partner with vendors to improve billing practices.
- Continually looks for ways to improve our audit and review processes.
- Manage vendor accounts
You should have:
- 4+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience and Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry.
- Knowledge of Ocean, Trucking, Air, and Partner contracts is a plus.
- Able to coach employees to achieve results; needs to be able to have patience in seeing the success of your employees
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Next-level attention to detail and follow-through.
