About the Role:
As a Senior Analyst within our GTM Analytics teams you’ll partner with sales leadership and cross-functional GTM stakeholders to deliver crisp data visualizations and analysis that drive GTM strategy and execution. This role is critical in driving a culture of data driven decision making by providing unparalleled transparency of business performance and opportunities for continuous improvement across the customer value lifecycle. The successful candidate strikes a unique balance of proficiency in building clean visualization, a keen eye for data quality, and a palpable intellectual curiosity to see through the data fog and spot the 20% of the data that will drive 80% of the desired business outcomes. The Medallia GTM Analytics team is not a data help desk. We are strategic partners to the business. The confidence to challenge and seek the best possible solution in any situation is crucial. Medallia places great emphasis on openness, a collaborative approach, and honest opinions. This role will report directly to the Sr. Director of GTM Analytics.
Responsibilities- Optimizing GTM productivity and the customer value lifecycle to support daily operations
- Support recurring reporting deliverables for sales leaders and GTM teams including Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance, providing proactive and reactive support for requests.
- Generate and maintain data visualizations that empower leadership and customer facing roles to make data driven decisions.
- Monitoring the accuracy and efficient distribution of reporting. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new visualization and reports as needed
- Work closely with the Strategy & Planning team and cross functional stakeholders to define reporting requirements
- Participate in global planning process, with a focus on reporting and process improvement
- Partner closely with data engineering teams to assure consistently accurate data quality.
- Partner with Strategy & Planning teams to enhance reporting consistency across sales regions and cross functional GTM teams (e.g. pipeline health, win rates, conversion rates, cycle time, translating sales activities to business outcomes, etc)
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in GTM Analytics, financial analysis, or related field
- Experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence software tools
- Experience writing SQL queries for data analysis
- Experience transforming data requests into crisp analysis accompanied by insightful recommendations
- BS Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, or related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to navigate large data sets and summarize findings
- Demonstrated attention to detail, methodical approach, with a keen eye for data accuracy
- Coachable; A high degree of intellectual curiosity and a thirst for learning
- Strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable in presenting to stakeholders
Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $83,000 - $152,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
