The Opportunity
The Delivery team at Wagestream plays a vital role in driving client success. We are responsible for onboarding and launching a diverse range of clients, including well-known brands like the NHS, Asda, Coop, Bupa, and Burger King.
As a Delivery Manager (Implementation Manager) at Wagestream, you will have a significant impact, guiding clients through the onboarding process, managing internal and external stakeholders, getting hands on technically and ensuring timely project delivery.
Your role is crucial in ensuring ongoing customer and employee satisfaction, leaving clients with a positive impression of a smooth and seamless implementation of Wagestream. From the initial signature to 45 days post-launch, you will own the client relationship.
This client-facing technical role requires excellent communication skills and technical expertise. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Sales, Solutions, Client Success, and Engineering.
What will you be doing?
Your primary responsibility will be managing the client's implementation journey. You will:
- Build positive relationships with customers such as Halfords, Asda, Bupa, Burger King, and the NHS. As a trusted advisor, you will help shape decisions and timeframes for an optimal launch.
- Drive effective internal communication and collaboration within the project team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
- Address objections and guide prospective clients towards Wagestream's best practices and tailored solutions.
- Simplify and explain integration principles to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and buy-in.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize data transfer (SFTP and APIs) between systems, aiming to enhance the end-user experience.
- Proactively identify and address key risks and issues in projects, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Take ownership by identifying blind spots, optimizing problem-solving approaches, and keeping colleagues informed of progress.
- Actively contribute to enhancing team best practices, documentation, and internal processes.
What experience might you have? (But if you're close... we'd still love to talk to you!)
- Proactive and solution-focused mindset, with a blend of technical and business acumen
- Proven hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation projects, preferably in a similar fintech or technology-driven environment
- Demonstrated ability to drive projects to successful completion within defined timelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build relationships and effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams
- Experience in managing client expectations and addressing client concerns
- Solid understanding of technical concepts such as APIs, SFTP, and Single Sign-On
Working Policy: three office days per week
Salary: Dependant on experience. Ranges between £60,000 to £80,000 + bonus/stocks & benefits
