We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our team. If you want to join a world-leading, VC-backed, AI start-up, this job is for you!! Candidates will have the chance to work closely with the founding team. We are a team of serial entrepreneurs with successful exits across an array of industries. On an individual level, our founding team contains multiple IIMA graduates, missile scientists, former senior management at Barclays, and US MBA graduates.
We are at the forefront of AI innovation, particularly around chain of thought.
Expertise in Django and relocation to Ahmedabad are requirements for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality server-side applications and APIs.
- Optimize database architectures for high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure application stability and performance.
- Optimize performance across all aspects of the backend, including server performance, database queries, and API response times.
- Implement security and data protection measures in backend architecture.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest backend technologies and trends.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Participate in architectural decisions to ensure scalability, maintainability, and high availability of services.
Requirements:
- Experience with Django is essential
- Experience or knowledge of Python, JavaScript, Rest API, AWS, SQL, GIT, GCP, and Lamba functions is desired.
- Candidates need to have projects they can show to demonstrate their proficiency in backend development.
- Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience
