The Role:
We’re looking for a Tech Recruiter to join our team here at Ferovinum. It’s an exciting time to join as we move from start-up to scale up. As we’re maturing you’ll play a key role in scaling Fero; we’re transitioning to a PLG led motion so our Product and Tech hires will be vital in our next stage of growth.
From our perspective we’re looking for someone who knows how to identify, source and attract the best talent on the market. Although this role will be focussed around results and delivery we’re looking for someone who wants to help with org design, improve our employer brand and instill best practice across our teams. Candidate quality and having a high talent-bar is also something we pride ourselves on. Yes, we need to grow our teams but growing with the right people is the most important part.
An overview: We’re looking to add 25+ engineers to the function this year alone across: Product, Data, QA, Support, DevOps, UX/UI and Core Engineering. In this role you’ll work directly with our Head of Talent to ensure we achieve our hiring goals with a focus on quality over quantity. We ‘re looking for a recruiter who cares about achieving business objectives Vs putting bums on seats.
Key Responsibilities:
You'll be supporting the recruitment process for Engineering and Product roles across all levels of seniority.
Delivery: we’re moving to a PLG motion so our Product and Tech hires are key to business success. This isn’t a numbers game though, candidate quality wins over everything else and we maintain a high bar.
Diversity: it will be your responsibility to ensure we’re driving a diverse pipeline across all roles to ensure we hire the best talent.
Candidate Experience: our employer brand is crucial to our success. Yes, we’re still building it but this comes from delivering exceptional experience at every stage in the process. We want people to shout about how positive a business we are regardless of if we hire them into our teams.
Stakeholder Management: your main stakeholders will be the CEO, CTO and CPO so we’re looking for someone who is used to navigating senior conversations who can create trust through data driven decision making.
Data Driven Recruitment: everything we do is supported by data. You’ll use our ATS Ashby to track metrics, present live hiring data to the teams and to help us influence change.
Onboarding Support: we’re a small and mighty team so you’ll need to wear multiple hats. You’ll collaborate with our Head of Talent and other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
Key Requirements:
Proven track record of delivery as a top performer in your team within a high growth Fin-Tech / Start Up.
3+ years of experience in recruiting Product and Tech roles; ideally with demonstrative success of hiring sr leaders.
A proactive, solution-oriented approach, demonstrating creativity and determination in solving hiring challenges for Product and Tech talent.
Experience working with global teams across multiple geographies.
Proven ability to leverage data and metrics to continually refine recruitment strategies and drive informed hiring decisions (having data on your CV is a huge plus).
Experience working with Ashby ATS is not needed but it’s what you’ll be using day to day.
