What You’ll Do
Develop Product Positioning and Messaging
Develop and implement a messaging framework that ensures consistency across all channels, including digital campaigns, website, email, and social media.
Partner with the product and customer experience teams to continuously refine messaging based on customer insights and market feedback.
Lead Go-to-Market Strategies & Customer Journeys
Own the go-to-market strategy for new product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
Define customer personas based on research and behavioral data, using insights to guide marketing and branding efforts.
Track and optimise the entire customer journey, from initial awareness to purchase and long-term retention.
Customer Insights and Competitive Analysis
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine Napo’s positioning and differentiate from competitors.
Analyse customer behavior, pain points, and purchase drivers to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Lead customer feedback loops, ensuring insights are integrated into product and messaging improvements.
Drive Lifecycle Marketing & Retention
Develop customer lifecycle marketing strategies that improve retention and engagement.
Work with CRM and data teams to design targeted email, SMS, and retargeting campaigns that enhance customer experience and maximize lifetime value.
Optimise renewal and loyalty strategies, ensuring pet parents continue to see value in Napo’s offerings.
Plan and Execute Key Campaigns
Design and deliver campaigns around key moments (e.g., pet health awareness months, Christmas, New Year, Puppy Season), ensuring they drive engagement and conversions.
Work with the wider marketing team to build cohesive, multi-channel campaigns.
Test and iterate on campaign effectiveness, using A/B testing and performance data.
Drive Collaboration and Innovation
Act as the bridge between product, marketing, and customer experience teams, ensuring product positioning aligns with customer needs.
Partner with internal teams and external agencies to ensure campaigns align with Napo’s brand storytelling efforts.
Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations, bringing fresh ideas to marketing strategy and execution.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in product marketing, ideally in consumer tech, fintech, insurance, or a startup environment.
Experience conducting and utilising customer research to shape product and marketing strategies.
Strong storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate product features into compelling customer benefits.
Data-driven mindset, comfortable using analytics tools to measure marketing effectiveness and optimise strategies.
Experience in customer segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and retention-focused campaigns.
Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
A passion for pets!
Prior experience overseeing Performance Marketing is highly desirable.
