Khazna launched in 2020 with a mission to improve the financial well-being of the underbanked, who have little access to formal financial services by providing access to convenient, effective and secure smartphone-based financial services. Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt’s first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to neobank for underbanked consumers across the Middle East. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and to launch its operations in Saudi Arabia.

Role Description:
The Head of Marketing is a key member of the leadership team responsible for leading the marketing strategy and execution in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The data-driven Head of Marketing will drive brand positioning, user satisfaction and growth for our fintech products, in compliance with local regulations and market trends and play a key role in customer acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data-driven consumer technology and / or fintech marketing, digital strategy, and customer engagement.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data-driven marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Establish and enhance brand positioning to differentiate the company in the competitive fintech markets of Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
- Hire, manage, develop and retain an aggressive, bold, and hands-on team
- Advance Khazna’s vision, mission and culture.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing efforts.
- Work closely with the Commercial teams to conceive, fund and execute campaigns which lead directly to meaningful growth in customers and revenue and drive cost optimization for marketing initiatives.
- Work closely with Growth/ Performance Marketing team to support user acquisition through performance marketing, partnerships, and data-driven campaigns.
- Negotiate key partnerships and vendor contracts locally and regionally, as necessary.
- Collaborate with banks, regulators, and key ecosystem players to strengthen market positioning.
- Develop co-marketing strategies with partners.
- Expand fintech product reach through strategic alliances and localized campaigns.
- Work closely with the strategy team Implement a data-driven approach to measure marketing ROI and customer LTV.
- Use analytics tools to track, measure, and optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Monitor user behavior, market trends, and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies.
- Ensure all marketing campaigns adhere to financial regulations in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
- Adapt marketing messaging to align with local cultural, economic, and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Operations, Strategy, Product and Technology teams to launch products and user experiences highly-adapted to the needs of target users.
- Monitor market trends, user needs and competitive landscape and be the thought leader in fintech in Egypt.
