You’d be joining a team of over 200 passionate, ambitious people, across Europe and the USA, building a category-leading fintech product and all united by that same mission.
The Opportunity:
Your prime focus will be identifying and seeking new business opportunities through inbound and outbound lead qualification across retail, hospitality and healthcare clients. As a team, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing those leads to pass on to your Director, working collaboratively from there to close out the partnership, supporting your growth towards owning the entire sales cycle.
Leveraging the great success from our UK team, through 1-2-1 mentorship and coaching, you will gain a competent grasp of techniques and processes (delivered through regular training) and tools to engage with and develop relationships with potential Wagestream clients.
The Team:
You will be joining our growing New York office, working closely with a dedicated Sales Director and reporting directly to our Head of Sales.
What will you be doing?
- Identify & qualify potential customers within the education sector, generating new business opportunities and managing those leads through to booking meetings
- Collaborate with partnerships and marketing teams to build and execute outbound prospecting campaigns
- Managing the sales pipeline, qualifying new business opportunities via various mediums
- Use our internal systems to record and manage pipelines, keeping track of qualified opportunities.
- Shadowing proven sales leaders, giving you the gradual development to take ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle
Must-haves: (But if you’re close… we'd still love to talk to you!)
- 1-5 years in lead generation and/or sales positions, ideally gained in the B2B SaaS environment.
- Technology savvy: experience using the correct tools to generate business, such as LinkedIn, HubSpot etc.
- Proven communicator, able to effectively build relationships and lead the narrative with senior and middle management.
- Ambition: you have a hunger to develop and a willingness to always grow and learn
- Extremely self-motivated with the ability to work independently and also within a team environment
Within 1 month you’ll have:
- You’ve been buddied up with a proven sales leader and you’re learning the ropes on how to executive a successful sales process
- You’ve learned 'what’s what' at Wagestream in terms of our products and you understand the target market
Within 3 months you’ll have:
- You’re seeing success. Your booking meetings with some of the biggest US enterprise names in the industry and shadowing your director, learning the skills to take on the full cycle
Within 6 months you’ll have:
- You’re a dependable member of the team, growing towards owning the full sales pipeline with a development plan in place to become a Sales Director with bespoke goals
Working Policy:
- We operate a hybrid policy with a minimum requirement of 3 days a week in the office
Salary:
Depending on experience, salaries start from $75,000 + commission + equity & benefits. Year 1 OTE's are predicted around $25,000-30,000.
