About this role
In this remote position, the Product Analyst will play a key role in shaping Fuse’s data strategy, product insights, and decision-making processes. Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO), this is a high-impact, strategic role working closely with leadership on strategic decision-making and roadmap direction, driving data-led decision-making across the product portfolio. You will work closely with the CPO, Product Managers, and Technology teams, providing actionable insights, supporting strategic market and roadmap analysis, and optimising user engagement through data.
About the team
The Product-Technology team at Fuse is made up of the Product, Technology and QA functions. Within
Product, you will be the first hire of the ProductOps team, and hand-in-glove with the Product Managers and Design teams. In Technology, we have Engineering, split into Frontend and Backend chapters, and the Platform team. In QA, the team is split between Analysts and Automation. Our squad structure has a permanent Product Manager, Lead Engineer and Lead QA Analyst. Engineers are then assigned according to agreed roadmap deliverables and Product Managers are expected to influence resourcing decision making through compelling roadmap ideas and presentations.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic Market & Roadmap Analysis:
- Work directly with the CPO to analyse market trends, competitor data, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on roadmap priorities and product investments.
- Support go-to-market strategies by analysing adoption trends and market demand.
- Product Analytics & Insights:
- Use SQL and Python to analyse user behaviour, engagement trends, and feature adoption.
- Manage data tracking, reporting, and quick insights. Work towards centralising data sources with other departments.
- Leverage user tracking data and feature usage data to analyse user journeys, friction points, and engagement drivers.
- Support Product Managers and Heads of Technology and QA by defining KPIs, tracking performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Presentation & Storytelling:
- Craft and present compelling insights that are easy for non-technical stakeholders across the business to understand.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership, Product, Customer Success, and Sales.
- Build engaging, well-structured presentations using PowerPoint, Google Slides, or data visualisation tools.
- Experimentation & Testing:
- Design and evaluate A/B tests to measure the impact of product features and design changes.
- Use Python for statistical analysis to validate hypotheses and refine roadmap decisions.
- Optimise experiments to improve Fuse’s Engagement Funnel and learning outcomes.
- Data Strategy & Operational Efficiency:
- Play a foundational role in defining Fuse’s product data strategy, ensuring best practices in tracking, governance, and insight generation.
- Collaborate with engineers to improve data collection and integrity.
- Automate reporting processes to streamline how the Product team uses data.
- Stakeholder Communication & Influence:
- Present clear, impactful insights to the CPO, Product Managers, and senior leadership.
- Work closely with Customer Success and Sales to translate data into customer engagement strategies.
- Build product dashboards and reports to provide visibility into product health and growth opportunities.
- AI-Driven Efficiency & Scaling Output: Leverages AI to automate tasks, enhance forecasting, and streamline workflows while ensuring data accuracy. Identifies opportunities to scale insights efficiently while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
- Product Thinking & Business Impact: Transforms data into strategic insights, optimizing engagement, adoption, and roadmap priorities. Understands how user behavior influences product success and translates findings into actionable recommendations.
- Persuasive Data Communication: Communicates complex insights clearly, using data storytelling to influence decisions and strategy. Crafts compelling reports and presentations that drive alignment across technical and non-technical teams.
