About us

Owkin is building the first universal AI Operating System called K to lay the foundation for Biological Artificial Superintelligence (BASI). This OS integrates a suite of AI agents that decode complex biology, accelerate research, and dramatically increase productivity. Acting as copilots, Owkin K agents will automate drug discovery and diagnostics and power next-gen pharma companies.

Owkin’s OS will be powered by the world’s largest federated multimodal patient data network, a robotized lab, leading AGI technologies, and cutting-edge multimodal foundation models and LLMs.

About Diagnostics at Owkin

Our ambition is to potentiate precision diagnosis in oncology with artificial intelligence applied to digital pathology. Pathology slide images, taken from biopsied or resected tissues, are a yet-untapped, ultra-high dimensional data modality that offer a huge potential for deep learning application to better understand disease, optimize patient care & improve treatment decisions.

We are working with various actors in the industry to form a consortium and tackle together the challenges of digital pathology in clinical practice. These actors represent academia, private pathology labs, and industry players.

We are now looking for a Product Owner to support the work of our product team by contributing to the conception and the development of innovative software products for digital pathology.

About the role:

Position is based in our Paris office.

You will work on the conception and development of the AI platform enabling the usage of precision medicine solutions in digital pathology.

In particular, you will:

Discovery/Analytics

Conduct user research (from casual interview to beta testing), collecting and analyzing feedback to derive valuable insights
Turn data insights and user feedback into features with actionable outcomes for the customers

Strategy and Tactics

Improve the product reach, work on product missions and transpose it into a roadmap
Contribute to the design of new features to maximize the customer value, prioritize the product backlog items and plan the release

Delivery

Work in an Agile environment and translate roadmap features into well-defined requirements including user stories, and acceptance test criteria
Contribute to regulatory documentation and project related activities
Provide product support to all internal stakeholders to ensure product success and growth
Support testing campaigns

About you

Minimum 2 years (or equivalent experience) in a product management/owner role, preferably in software medical device development
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a scientific field (eg Software Engineering, Computer Science…)
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
Knowledge in the field of Software as Medical Device (SaMD) in particular standards ISO 13485, IEC 62304, IVDR, FDA regulations is a plus
Highly engaged and adaptable – self motivated and driven with the ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Strong team spirit
Highly organized and proactive
Fluency in English is a prerequisite

Ways to stand out:

Additional language skills in French would be preferred
Understanding of machine learning principles
