We offer you an influential role in a fast-growing company:
As a Technical Product Manager (w/m/d) at HeyJobs, you will bring our software engineering productivity on the next level and thus significantly accelerate our impact.
Based on an already established engineering metrics program (we use https://www.usehaystack.io/ among others), you will deepen and apply insights to continuously optimize our processes and tools along the SDLC.
As a major part of your role, you will spearhead the strategic yet practical adoption of AI tools (as well as new features of existing ones) and practices to unlock unprecedented efficiency and productivity gains for our engineering teams.
You will assume end2end ownership from identification, test and evaluation, integrating them into our software and productivity stack as well as evangelize them internally with the teams and ensure adoption.
Together with a dedicated senior engineer, and working closely together with the CTO, PM Platform Engineering and Senior Tech leaders you will act as the bridge between engineering teams, leadership, and emerging technologies, ensuring we distinguish transformative tools from fleeting trends.
🎯 How you can contribute to HeyJobs
Optimize engineering impact via metrics like Change Lead Time (CLT), PR throughput, and roadmap delivery by aligning tooling and processes with data-driven insights.
Identify, evaluate, trial and scale AI-powered tools to streamline the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from code generation to deployment.
Establish frameworks for rapid yet pragmatic evaluation of new AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor.ai, Devin.AI) and integrate them into daily workflows.
Define and evangelize "AI-native" practices, including changes in architectural patterns, project setups, and team workflows that maximize AI’s potential.
Drive adoption of new and existing tools through metrics-backed strategies, education (e.g., documentation and guides, presentations, workshops, labs, hackdays), and community-building among engineers.
Build out already adopted existing tools for maximum impact and leverage
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying automation opportunities, sharing best practices, and iterating on developer experience (DevX).
Collaborate cross-functionally to balance innovation with stack simplicity, cost efficiency, and secure AI adoption.
