As a Financial Accountant (w/m/d) at HeyJobs, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial and strategic direction of our growing company. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of revolutionizing the recruiting industry through innovative technology and ensuring that we continue to help thousands of job seekers find meaningful employment.
This position is initially offered on a fixed-term basis (1 yr.), with the potential to transition into a permanent employment contract.
In this role, you can earn an annual target salary up to 45k€.

🎯 How you can contribute to HeyJobs
You manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
You prepare accurate and timely financial reports in compliance with legal requirements and continuously improve accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
You collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
You conduct financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
You assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and financial policies.
You support the annual audit process by liaising with external auditors and providing necessary documentation.
🤝 What sets you up for success
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
You possess at least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role.
You have knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
You are proficient in accounting software (Datev) and MS Excel.
You demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills & have a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
You have business-fluent proficiency in English, both spoken and written. German is a plus.
