Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.
We want you as a talented Avionics EGSE Technician to help us in our mission by assembling and testing EGSEs used with all electronic units that will compose our Nyx Avionics system.
Key Responsibilities
In your capacity as an Avionics EGSE Technician, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:
Discuss and define EGSE specifications and test capabilities with the avionics engineering team
Assist in the development and modification of test equipment and setups to meet project requirements
Design, build and troubleshoot EGSEs used for testing avionics boxes according to the specifications
Support the integration of automated test setups
Define test procedures using the EGSEs
Conduct maintenance and repairs on EGSE to minimize downtime
Perform setup and calibration of test equipment in accordance with technical specifications
What we would love to see from you
In the role of Avionics EGSE Technician ideally, you have collected some experience with the following:
Hands-on building of EGSEs
Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Debugging experience of electronics circuits using Oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly
Basic knowledge of test automation and setups
Experience with Python for test automation
English communication vocal and written (working language is English)
Hands-on test experience of electronics circuits and units is a plus
Experience with environmental testing, including thermal, vibration, and EMI/EMC tests is a plus
Experience with Linux Operating System is a plus
Certification such as IPC or similar is a plus
