Your Role
The mission of this role is to attract, hire, and retain a diverse range of talent across tech and non-tech positions within all connected ventures of the Molecule universe: Pump.Science, BIO.xyz, DeSci Entwicklungs GmbH and Molecule AG. As a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for the full recruitment lifecycle, from collaborating with hiring leads to create job descriptions, sourcing top candidates, conducting interviews, and successfully closing hires and onboarding them. Additionally, you will build a robust talent pipeline for various departments and actively contribute to ongoing Talent Acquisition projects to support our fast-growing organization.
What You'll Be Doing
End-to-End Hiring: Lead the entire recruitment process for various positions across the Molecule ecosystem. From defining hiring needs to managing the interview process, you’ll ensure timely and high-quality hires.
Talent Pipeline: Build and nurture a strong talent pipeline for critical departments (e.g., marketing, tech, operations) within the first 6 months, ensuring that we can move quickly on future hiring needs.
Hiring Metrics: Hire at least xx crucial priority 1 positions (high-impact, urgent roles) within the next x months.
Internal Talent Development: Collaborate with the SciComms & DeSci team on a traineeship program aimed at nurturing internal talent and fostering growth within the company.
Process Optimization: Continually monitor and optimize recruiting processes to enhance speed and efficiency. Provide actionable insights and data-driven recommendations to improve overall hiring performance.
Ashby Mastery: Take complete ownership of the Ashby ATS setup, ensuring it's optimized for seamless candidate management and reporting, and continuously improve the hiring process through the platform.
Acquiring & Leading Support: Acquiring and leading temporary internal or external support for recruitment efforts when needed, ensuring additional resources are utilized effectively to meet hiring goals.
What We’re Looking For
1. Key Priorities for This Role:
Tech Expertise with web3 Experience: You are a seasoned tech recruiter with experience in hiring for complex technical roles, including web3 positions. You are comfortable sourcing for both business and technical roles and know the nuances of web3 talent.
Stakeholder Management: You’re a strong team player with exceptional stakeholder management skills. You work effectively with a diverse set of teams and senior leaders in different time zones, aligning with hiring goals and timelines.
KPI-Driven: You are results-oriented and thrive on hitting and exceeding hiring targets. You track your own performance, keep stakeholders informed, and ensure alignment with company goals.
2. Experience & Skills:
Proven Track Record: You’ve successfully hired A-players and have experience recruiting for high-demand, technical roles (preferably in web3/crypto industries). You’ve worked in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments and are familiar with the challenges they present.
Highly Organized: Your work style is extremely organized and structured. You are proactive in moving candidates through the funnel and resolving any bottlenecks quickly. Candidates who have been in the funnel for over 48 hours without progress will cause you a headache.
3. Relationship Management & Soft Skills:
Communication: You’re the first point of contact for candidates, so your communication is friendly, clear, and professional. You have strong interpersonal skills and can build rapport with both candidates and internal teams.
Adaptability: You thrive in fast-moving environments and are highly adaptable to change. The dynamic nature of web3/crypto excites you, and you’re comfortable adjusting to new needs and processes.
Calm Under Pressure: In a fast-paced, high-demand environment, you stay calm under pressure. You can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines without compromising quality or efficiency.
Self-Starter: You’re independent and can work without much guidance. You take ownership of projects and ensure they’re completed on time and to a high standard.
Data-Driven: You know how to leverage data to optimize your recruiting efforts. You understand which sourcing channels work best for different roles, how to assess your process’s speed, and which hiring managers need your regular attention to keep things moving.
4. Technical & Industry Knowledge:
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, ideally in a tech-focused company, with strong sourcing skills. Web3/crypto experience is highly preferred.
Web3/crypto Knowledge: You have a strong understanding of the web3 & crypto spaces, ideally through work experience. You’re fluent in the specific language, culture, and trends that define this universe.
Language Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in German is a plus but not required.
