Your responsibilities
- Fraud Monitoring & Rules: You continuously analyse user and transaction data to spot irregularities and improve fraud detection rules.
- AI Prompt Engineering: You craft and refine prompts for chat moderation and other AI-driven tools to elevate our customer experience.
- Scam Pattern Analysis: You identify emerging scam trends, propose mitigation strategies, and implement improvements.
- Low-Code Integrations: You leverage or evaluate no-/low-code tools to automate recurring tasks and optimise workflows.
- Data Reporting: You generate concise, data-based insights to inform strategic decisions and bolster platform security.
- Payment Flow Support: You assist in monitoring payment flows and chargebacks, collaborating with internal teams to mitigate risks when necessary.

About you
- You’re enrolled in a degree program in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- You have a strong analytical mindset and familiarity with risk management concepts or a genuine interest in learning them.
- You have experience with, or eagerness to learn, fraud prevention tools (e.g. Seon) and AI prompt engineering.
- Basic knowledge of low-code platforms (e.g. Zapier) is a plus.
- You thrive in a dynamic environment, are detail-oriented, and enjoy problem-solving.
- You communicate well in English; additional languages are a bonus.

As a Working Student in our Trust & Safety team, you’ll play a key role in protecting our marketplace by analyzing data, fine-tuning fraud detection rules (e.g., Seon), and crafting AI prompts for chat moderation. You’ll identify scam patterns, implement low-code solutions to streamline workflows, and share data-driven insights with the team. This position offers hands-on experience at the crossroads of data, AI, and operational security in a fast-growing startup environment.
