AppsFlyer’s Finance Team is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and detail-oriented Global Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations across Israel and the rest of the world (ROW). This is a pivotal role in our Finance team, where you will oversee the payroll function, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced, global environment. You’ll manage a team of payroll professionals and play a critical role in aligning payroll processes with our business objectives. What you'll do:
- Lead and manage the global payroll team fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and analysis of payroll processes for 1,500 employees across multiple countries.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements in all operating jurisdictions.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Legal, and external consulting firms on payroll-related issues and global initiatives.
- Develop and implement efficient payroll processes and systems to support the company’s growth and global operations.
- Take responsibility for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end payroll reporting, including analysis and reconciliation for the accounting team.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance during audits related to payroll operations.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve payroll systems, policies, and procedures to ensure scalability and efficiency.
- Act as a key advisor to senior management on global payroll strategies and trends.
What you have:
- At least 7 years of payroll management experience in a global organization (high-tech environment preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience leading both local and international teams.
- Extensive familiarity with Israeli labor and salary laws, as well as global payroll practices and regulations.
- Proficient in Excel, Hilan Pro salary system and Hilanet attendance system.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- High-level proficiency in both written and spoken English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Relevant payroll certifications; a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Experience implementing or optimizing payroll systems for scalability.
- Knowledge of multi-currency payroll and cross-border tax implications.
- Experience in driving process improvements and leading payroll-related projects.
