ABOUT THE ROLE
We are growing our Platform team and looking for a Mid / Senior DevOps Engineer.
The Platform Chapter of Harbor Lab provides a reliable, secure, innovative and agile platform, on which our apps are served. As a member of the team, you will be working with technologies such as AWS, Terraform/CDK, Kubernetes, Gitlab Pipelines, Java/Node.js, LLMs, Postgres/DynamoDB, and will be an integral part of designing and implementing the next generation of our product.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Setup/reconfigure/maintain our AWS Infra via Terraform & CDK
- Maintain/update our k8s clusters and Gitlab Pipelines
- Collaborate with the QA/SET team to augment automated testing in our Pipelines
- Coordinate with the Product Team for new features infrastructure needs
- Work with the Support Team to troubleshoot production issues
- Assist Dev Teams with releasing/deploying/troubleshooting our Platform
- Enable AI/ML team by contributing in Data Engineering projects
- Implement standalone backend services to be utilized by Dev Teams
- Maintain/Extend our Monitoring Solutions
But wait… Is this a Dev or a DevOps role? It’s a mix of both, thus we are looking into candidates that have a good combination of skills that range from Infrastructure to Software Development. Our “customer” is other internal tech teams (Devs, AI/ML engineers, Analysts). Don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes, bring your A-game in a few of our required technologies and a great attitude to the interview.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
At least 3 years of experience in:
- Public Clouds
- IaC
- Kubernetes
- Running build pipelines
- Monitoring
- Microservice Software Development
- Fulfilled military obligations (where applicable)
Additionally, familiarity with the following will be considered a plus:
- AWS
- Terraform, CDK
- Gitlab Pipelines
- Prometheus Grafana Stack, NetData
- Java, Node.js, and/or Python
