We are looking to hire a Financial Accountant to join our growing Finance team. You will provide essential support and have a large impact on the financial control team, reporting into the Group Financial Controller.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Play an integral role in all aspects of finance control: Month End reporting, VAT submissions, R&D tax claims, balance sheet reconciliations, cashflow actuals and forecasting, maintaining accurate accounts and payroll.
You will help to implement, maintain and monitor financial controls to help take finance to the next level
Producing and interpreting financial reporting both internally and externally when needed
Support the Finance Manager in the Group year end audit process
Plus, any other duties reasonably requested to support the business from a Finance perspective
ACA or ACCA qualified
Advanced technical skills and analytic skills incl. Excel/Google Sheet
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confident speaking with key stakeholders at various levels, including external advisors and auditors
Detail oriented whilst working under pressure and within tight deadlines
A team player that is self driven with a growth mindset
A keen interest in health and startups
DESIRABLE
Top 6 audited trained with startup experience
Experience of managing and supporting junior team members
Experience with Accounting Software packages (Netsuite)
