About the role 💼
At Flanks, we are looking for a Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. If you’re a detail-oriented professional passionate about financial reporting and eager to take on an exciting challenge in a dynamic environment, we’d love to meet you! 🌟
What you'll do 🛠️
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and creating risk and return analysis metrics to ensure accurate financial assessments. 📊
- Reviewing products from different financial markets to analyse and document future needs. 🌍
- Analysing current data and focusing on its continuous improvement. 📈
- Maintaining, and improving data from our market data providers to ensure quality. 🔧
- Coordinating and supporting other teams to streamline operations and ensure alignment across teams. 🤝
What we'd love to see 😍
The essential skills we’re looking for include:
• Organised and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy 🗂️
• Good Excel skills: minimum use of pivot tables to analyse and present data 💻
• Knowledge of the French financial market and its products, with a strong understanding of market trends 🇫🇷
• Experience in investment departments, with a solid foundation in financial analysis 💼
• Knowledge of Morningstar and other market data providers to gather and evaluate financial information 📊
Additionally, the following would be nice to have:
• Familiarity with the German and UK financial market and its products 🇩🇪🇬🇧
• Speaking French and German would be appreciated 🗣️
• Proficiency in Excel macros 💻
