We are looking for a Senior QA web Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a Senior Web QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our web applications. You will lead the QA efforts, develop test strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Your expertise in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices will be crucial in driving the testing process and enhancing product reliability.
Main responsibilities,
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web applications.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Perform regression, functional and performance testing.
Automate testing processes using relevant tools and frameworks to improve efficiency.
Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application scalability.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in QA methodologies.
What we're looking for,
Strong experience (+5 years) in test automation and scripting, with hands-on expertise in using test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, and JUnit.
Experience with manual testing techniques and methodologies.
Proven track record of leading QA projects and teams.
Experience in developing and maintaining test documentation.
Strong understanding of web technologies and familiarity with web performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
Understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman, SoapUI.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining quality.
Adaptable and eager to learn new technologies, with leadership experience in guiding junior team members.
Nice-to-Have:
Knowledge of security testing practices and tools.
Experience in cloud-based applications and testing in cloud environments.
Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB).
