Description
We are seeking an experienced Operations Associate to join our Platform Team, to support the execution of our talent selection and venture building program at Entrepreneur First India.
As part of the Bangalore Platform team, you will work closely with our Talent Investors (TIs) to curate EF’s venture building processes, delivering EF’s core day-to-day operations and playing a pivotal role in setting the founders up for success. You will champion EF’s unique approach to company building by enabling world class experiences for cohort members and alumni.
This is a dynamic and exciting role, with high levels of autonomy and the freedom to really shape how people experience the EF brand. You will gain exposure to all parts of the business, partnering with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. It is a role that requires you to wear multiple hats and be comfortable managing projects end to end autonomously.

What you'll do

Champion program and talent success:
- Be the eyes and ears on the ground with the founders, you will own thinking around program content and how we structure the program delivery.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes and deliver a world class customer experience for cohort members across every interaction and touchpoint.
- Support with CRM/funnel management, working closely with the data and tooling teams to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Activate and grow our communities & partnerships
- Deliver exceptional experiences including talent events where we invite a large number of potential founders, running Selection Days, Hackathons and other community building events for EF

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are executed with attention to detail. Support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with overall firm goals.

Process Management & Operational Excellence: Lead efforts to design, implement, and refine operational processes across various functions, including founder scouting & selection (talent phase), venture building & fundraising (program phase). Drive continuous operational improvements by assessing workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing process enhancements that streamline operations and improve the founder experience.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Funds, Data, Legal, Marketing, Advisory) and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of program operations.

Data & Analytics: Use data-driven insights to optimize operational performance and report on the effectiveness of current strategies.

Event Management: Assist in planning and executing key events such as Selection Day, ensuring efficient coordination and a high-quality experience for all participants.

Alumni Relations: Maintain relationships with portfolio companies and alumni to foster a connected, engaged community that can support current founders and further the success of the incubator.
Who you are
- 2-5 years of experience in an operational role ideally within a startup or a customer-facing environment
- Experience in implementing operational optimisation, process improvements, and driving efficiency
- Proven ability to manage complex projects from start to finish, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders while ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to navigate ambiguity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Experience in planning and managing events
- Strong passion for operations, data, tooling, and drive to continuous improvement
- An analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to identify trends, measure performance, and implement informed improvements.
- A deep understanding of the importance of delivering a high-quality experience for customers across all touch-points.
- A keen interest in the startup ecosystem, venture capital, and emerging technologies.
