Your mission
We are looking for a New Ventures Manager (f/m/d) who will…
Develop and test hypotheses about new products and business models: Formulate hypotheses about potential solutions and design experiments to test their viability with our existing customer base and beyond.
Lead MVP experimentation: Iteratively develop minimum viable products (MVPs) to quickly test and validate new ideas. This may include hands-on prototyping, collaborating with agencies/freelancers, or working closely with our product and engineering teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product management, engineering, operations, marketing, and sales teams to gather input & build consensus – the delivery will be your responsibility though.
Analyze and communicate results: Track key metrics, analyze data, and present findings to stakeholders to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
Champion innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the company, encouraging experimentation, risk-taking, and creative problem-solving.
Your profile
Must-haves:
Track record of impact & excellence: You have at least 5 years of professional experience as an Innovation Manager, Growth Initiative Manager or in a similar role. Ideally you have a proven track record in product innovation, building your own business(es), working in high-performance environments (consulting, investment banking, VC, big tech, etc.).
Entrepreneurial mindset: You’re a self-starter with a passion for innovation, bias for action, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Inspiring spirit: You can effectively convey your vision and inspire others – especially customers – to embrace new ideas.
Strong analytical skills: You have the ability to gather, analyze, and interpret data to make informed decisions.
Experience with agile methodologies: You are familiar with agile development processes and lean startup principles.
Technical proficiency: You have a solid understanding of SaaS business models and software development.
Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
A valid work permit is required, depending on the country you will be working from (Germany, Austria, the UK, or France).
You’ll get bonus points for…
Background in supply chain management, risk management or compliance
Experience in working with and negotiating with external vendors / partners.
Basic knowledge of software engineering, data science and cloud technologies
Experience with applied product analytics, e.g. using SQL, R or dedicated products.
