Meet the team behind this journey
We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Global Partnerships team and lead strategic engagements with our Technology Alliance Partners. In this role, you will drive DeepL’s go-to-market strategy by fostering partnerships within the Cloud Vendors and Strategic Technology ecosystem, working closely with teams across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about building and monetizing strategic relationships and driving commercial development, leading multi-partner GTM plays with cloud, ISVs, and distribution/resellers, generating pipeline in collaboration with external partners and internal teams, and focused on building repeatable and scalable partner programs. We are looking for an individual who combines vision with execution - someone who aligns cross-functional teams and drives initiatives that drive revenue growth.
Your role will be to shape and execute strategic initiatives, align cross-functional teams, and champion DeepL’s value propositions within the partner ecosystem, working effectively across Product, Sales, Marketing, and SDR to deliver measurable results.
Your responsibilities
Drive commercial partnership alignment between DeepL and our Strategic Technology Alliance Partners to accelerate Co-Sell development and achieve pole position within their partner portfolio
Work with Cloud & Tech Partners, Product, Sales, SDR and Marketing to develop a joint DeepL strategy and GTM business plan that includes joint-value propositioning, co-selling, sourcing revenue and improving win-rates
Unlock program funding and monetary benefits such as Marketplace and POC credits to support sales win strategic deals, MDFs to reinvest in our growth and develop GTM motions
Execute global GTM plans and create region-specific practice development plans, to help expand our US market penetration and global footprint
Build relationships across Cloud & Tech Partners and expand our network and influence as the leading Language AI Platform within relevant categories and competencies
Work closely with our Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop co-offerings to further strengthening our position across investment firms portfolio companies
You will report into our Director of Global Partnerships based in London
Qualities we look for
Experience working with Hyperscalers, Cloud Partners, ISVs, Sales and Business Development teams to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes, demonstrated experience in obtaining and overachieving on targets
5+ years experience in developing Strategic Partnerships, with key focus on working for Cloud Providers or managing strategic relationships with Cloud providers
Good understanding of the Hyperscalers Co-sell and GTM programs, requirements, benefits, verticalized motions and multi-partner plays
Experienced with the GTM model of SAAS and consumption based models on a global scale
Developed and delivered strategy and program for a similar sized company (<1,000 employees) would be advantageous
Knowledge of the translation market and/or AI/ML would also be advantageous and accelerate the candidates speed to delivery
Adaptive and agile in a quickly changing environment with competing priorities
Results-oriented, self-directed with a passion to succeed
Fluency in English (both reading and writing) is required in order to succeed within this key role
Ability to travel into the New York office (located at 450 S. Park Ave) 2x a week to engage and collaborate with team members
