What You’ll Accomplish:
- Lead the testing of integrated RF circuits and/or subsystems as a primary duty.
- Design, build and test electronics solutions using your skills in analogue, digital circuit design, and RF together with industry-standard CAD packages and test equipment.
- Write the documentation of the RF and microwave circuits and verification tests.
- Develop your experience in a broad range of electronics engineering subject areas.
- Maintain multidisciplinary collaboration and work towards a common goal together with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists.
- Play a key role in building test systems for quantum computers.
- Maintain UQs’ position of using state-of-the-art RF and electronics solutions.
- Help in the planning and scheduling of projects, reporting progress and issues.
- Engage with project planning activities, risk management and scheduling requirements.
- Help with fast turn-around, proof of concepts, and feasibility discussions.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the firmware and software used to control quantum computers.
